Seller Universe is looking for a Business Manager who is a client advocate, first and foremost. You are our main point of contact with the client. You will build long-term relationships with them, with the primary goal of making sure their needs are understood and satisfied. This means handling complaints and ensuring that company offerings meet their needs. It also means identifying industry trends and finding solutions and innovations when necessary.

In the course of your work, you will collaborate with other internal departments to collect and analyze relevant data so you can anticipate and meet challenges and exploit opportunities. You’ll connect with key business executives and other stakeholders, and you’ll prepare regular business reviews. You may also be required to find new business, assist with making sales, be assigned prospects, and be given other accounts. Your tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing.

To achieve success in this role, you must be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized. You must have the ability to build rapport with clients. You need to be communicative, proactive, and passionate about the client’s business. Your end goal is to keep clients engaged and satisfied with our products and services in the long run.


A Seller Universe Business Manager’s primary roles are client advocate and account manager. Their duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients based on trust and respect
  • Serving as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters
  • Assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value
  • Developing trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services
  • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives
  • Forecasting and tracking key account metrics
  • Preparing regular business reviews and continuously improving processes
  • Clearly communicating the progress of monthly or quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identifying industry trends and developing strategies to adapt to them when needed
  • Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits
  • Developing new business with existing clients and identifying areas of improvement to meet revenue goals


A Seller Universe Business Manager must be a highly motivated sales or marketing professional. At a minimum, they will have the following qualifications or relevant equivalents in a related field:

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate with, present to, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and client level
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or HubSpot) and MS Office
  • Exceptional organization skills and time management skills
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of customer behaviors and industry trends
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally
